If you prefer excursions by automobile, you will find the national road B28 in 500 meters from which you can reach the city center of Strasbourg across the border in the Alsace in less than 30 minutes. Baden-Baden can be reached via the Autobahn within half an hour. Or if you prefer to take the more scenic but slightly longer route via the Weinstrasse or the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse past the fabled lake Mummelsee, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Rhine Valley.
